About DeMiSystems.net
The name DeMiSystems was conceived in the 1990's. It is a combination of the first two letters of the names of two very good friends (who became interested in computers at an early age) and Systems - because they had a vision of building custom computers systems for a living.
Unfortunately, one of these friends met with an untimely death which ended the vision of building PCs as a team from becoming a reality.
Years have passed, but the name has stuck around because the memories linger.
Now, the name has become a domain. It was meant to be a private gateway to some of the equipment owned and shared by the surviving youth and his father (that would be me). But as you can see that has changed, too.
I have NEVER professed to be a web designer, nor do I want to be. But there are things that I believe are now worth sharing with everyone. So I have made a hodge-podge of a site, mostly to share MY opinion on some topics that have become my "buttons" or "soap boxes".
The focus at this point is to share information. There is a lot of BAD information out there. Controlled by the media and a lot of governments mostly. One of my favorite quotes comes from Mark Twain referring to the media way back then. "It's hard to argue with someone who buys their ink in barrels." While printed media like newspapers and magazines are fading out of existance, the television and the radio (especially what they call 'news') spins stories which ever way suits them with total disregard for reporting the truth or the facts. Face it ... scandal sells, and hysteria SELLS OUT.
But I'm rambling now. I hope that you find some USEFUL information here. And maybe a little humor to lighten the mood. After all ... there is NO scientific evidence to indicate that LIFE should be taken SERIOUSLY ... so try to lighten up and enjoy some LIFE.
PS: I currently reside in New Jersey, hence the links to NJ & PA documents.
